  1. Jef Allbright What animals don’t have language?

  2. I don’t know

  3. Jef Allbright — True, but logic and problem solving aren’t the same thing. Problem solving experiments on animals usually involve what we might call insight, an idea that pops into the mind that’s a new way of doing things. Logic, on the other hand, is an ordered sequence of “thoughts” (or whatever you want to call the units in the context of animals and pre-verbal humans) that each depend on their relationship to the one before.

  4. Which shows that those claims of language is necessary for intelligence are once again proven wrong!

  5. gee do you think perhaps there is a co relation to thinking logically and learning or could one learn without logics. you know smart people can come up with the stupidest enlightenments.

  6. Not buying this story. Babies dont have the mentally and knowledge in life.

  7. Jane Doee Sorry Jane this is not a ‘story’ it is a scientific result.

  8. Jef Allbright Right. Language is just a specific type of symbolic processing.

  9. Kenny Chaffin cant do a scientific result on babies that cant talk or communicate what they know at a baby stage I strongly disagree with those white coat lab rats

  10. Jane Doee Bye-Bye Jane, please educate yourself, learn something about Science, Research, Reality. I don’t tolerate fools or spammers.

  11. i was told by some people they even know all languages before even be able to talk

  12. Shree Tours and Travels Language is something learned. We are predisposed to learn language because of our innate symbolic processing capability but no one ‘knows’ any language before learning it.

  13. Absolutely believe to be true.

  14. Kenny Chaffin science is forever correcting yesterdays misinterpretations. “why is the sky blue” the answer has always been scientific fact but has been wrong.

    to blindly believe in anything….
